So, I have been thinking about starting a blog for a long time. Probably from the first few weeks of getting pregnant. I would sit at home feeling sick and a little sorry for myself, reading all these blogs and articles. Finally I have plucked up the courage and found the time to write my own. My daughter is 17 months and is growing up day by day 💓👧🏼💓

I’ll start at the beginning, mostly so mothers and mothers to be who read this know that they aren’t alone in the crazy, rollercoaster of emotions.
When I got pregnant, anyone can tell you, that what I wanted more then anything in my life is a baby. We were lucky to get pregnant pretty much straight away too. The moment I’ve found out was supposed to be the happiest moment if my life. Or so I was told by some judgmental mothers to be, when I told them that actually I was terrified. Don’t get me wrong, I was happy and excited but amongst the positive emotions was the a strong, overwhelming feeling of fear. I questioned myself ‘do I really want a baby?’ ‘ will I be a good mother?’ Amongst this I was worried that this baby, that is growing (or will be) inside me, is going to have to come out somehow. Yes funny, but very true! You don’t quite think of this until… You do.

I want to dedicated this blog to all the mums and dads. I will talk about the ups and downs of being a parent, where to get help and support if you are feeling overwhelmed. Need support or just a friendly ear.  I will post child/parent friendly place you could go and do and hopefully you will start to feel a part of the world again in no time. I did! Without the support of my mummy friends, I don’t know where I would be today ❤️

I am just getting my bearing in the blog world. So please comment with thoughts/ideas and sign up for updates  – hopefully they won’t be far apart :)
